Hi,
My guess is that he wants to drop all responsibility for a domain, and because you can't cancel a domain off before its expiry date, he is offering the domain for somebody else. The possibility that he may be asking for a high price could be due to the fact that he has been operating under the name BlindSoftware for a number of years now and so not only would he be relinquishing his domain, he would be renouncing his brandname as well.
Just my thoughts.
Kind regards,
Damien.

It's talking about the domain, not the company. Or at least that's what
I think.
That's kind of interesting that he's holding onto the domain rather than
just letting it expire, they aren't all that expensive by themselves so
i'm not sure what he could gain from this.
