I'll only say one more thing on this topic because I have no wish to either 
clutter the lists or offend anyone. But I am firml of the opinion that if 
you're so against Harry Potter, you're also probably against J. R. R. 
Tolkien and Lord of the Rings. Tolkien was in fact a very devout Christian 
and his story had a strong Christian theme. If you're against these two 
authors, you may as well throw out C. S. Louis as well. After all, 
Chronicles of Narnia definitely falls into the category of fantasy. If al 
fantasy is evil in your book, you might not want to even read Louis' work.
It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.
