The client will only save logfiles if you do so manually. I recommend that, when you close the client after quitting, when it asks you if you wish to save the output file, that you use that as your log file; just choose where to save it and you're all set.

Where else would the logs be filed at? I have checked the log path and it is set to C:\Program Files\VipMud\logs\. I have gone through the options menu as well, and create logs from MUD output is active. How would I go about retrieving or creating logs? Thanks.
