Hi Al, Not quite sure what you are doing to cause it to repeat the menu items, but I suspect you aren't doing something right do to your inexperience with Dos applications. To use the menus all you need to do is press the number for the menu selection followed by the enter key.
For example, before you can wrestle in WLS you first have to create a few wrestlers and add them to your database. From the main menu press 1 followed by enter. You'll be prompted to create a single wrestler or tag team. Since there are no wrestlers in your database you would again press 1 and enter to add single wrestler. The following screens will Prompt you for the name of the wrestler, finishing move, and to select his/her attributes like strength, speed, mat wrestling skill level, and so on. That's basically it in a nutshell. I don't generally have problems with the screen reader reading the menus over and over again. The only way I can duplicate the behavior you speak of is by pressing up or down arrows which do not work in Dos applications. They were not designed for that kind of input. So if you are treating them like Windows applications with pull down menus don't. There is no arrow key support in text based programs like Piledriver and Wrestling League Simulator. They use a very very basic input system such as the cin function to grab input instead of the more event driven keyboard commands you are use to in Windows programs. Cheers!
