Hi Sharren.
As I said, you can hit ctrl alt o to open a text file in the background with
the mud's text in. this isn't quite as good as vipmud's output review, since
you have to switch to it with ctrl alt, but it does let you pick up on what
you missed.
I also personally use supernover's virtual curser to review on screen text
and get spellings too while sapi reads incoming text from the mud, though
whether this will work for you will depend on your screen reader.

MushZ pack for alter goes very much above and beyond what a soundpack
should do and virtually turns the game into a full on audio rpg. I'd
