Hi. Well After mucking about with several other online games, I've gone back to ce, after not playing since february, and really I'm wondering why I ever stopped playing in the first place or why i've been wadnering around looking for alternatives!
This is particularly true given the recent additions I've noticed in the game, which include a full scale npc war against A.I ships, and the ability to have a crew (though getting a ship that will take one will not be easy). Also added is personal combat, that is now when you explore derelict spacecraft and alien planets, you actually get to fight things yourself! I've not tried this yet, but it's something I've wanted in the game for a very! long time and I can't wait to try. So anyone who hasn't played for a while might want to get back to the game as I am, And anyone who's not tried it, ---- well go to http://www.core-exiles.com/ and have a look. Oh, and of course check out the db page on audiogames.net for a hopefully reasonable overview (though likely it'll need updating yet again! Oh, and btw, Ce has probably the single best developer in terms of vi access I know in a web game. To give an example, when reviewing the recently updates and reading the current guides on combat, the developer said things like "and for Vi players that bar is labled as so and so!" So, not only is vi access implicit in the game, but it's even continually! being written into new updates, which, for a game with such very heavy graphics as Ce is really amazing!
