Hi Josh,
>did you start out using vb before you moved on to c number? no, I used C++ and C before C#. >Also, is vb6 considered object oriented programming? I've only dabbled, but to answer your question, it's almost but not quite completely so. <smile> You can still get an idea of how OOP languages work though, with it... I personally would move to VB.net if I wanted to go the VB route... And I believe that VB.net is fully object oriented. But honestly, how you code something and how the language you choose to use acts, is really just your own taste. Investigate a few languages on your own and see which is easiest for you to understand while having all of the features that will allow you to design the kinds of apps you'd like. Otherwise, the idea of something being object oriented or not, really doesn't make sense if it doesn't fit with what you're comfortable with. Does this make sense? My note is just a suggestion, but really, it comes down to you... What I feel comfortable working with might not be what you do... <smile> Anyway, hope this makes sense. Have a wonderful evening!...
