Well the rules I mention are from the version I own which is the brailled version by the Rnib, and knowing what they're like, while it is a good set with clear markings and decent colours it might be possible that it had some earlier varients of the rules.

As I said however it's the alternative monopoly games I'm a little sad to miss, indeed fantasy board games seem to have really taken off at the moment.

My nbrother regularly plays a lotr board game which plays like a gamebook with some simple mechanics with the players playing the four hobbits going to Mordor.

My brother also regularly plays Talisman and has collected several varients, which is another very famous fantasy board game with basic rpg mechanics but the board as the playing space and lots of random event cards.

I'd actually love to see an accessible version of a fantasy board game like that, as I've always wanted to play one but none have ever been accessible.
