fully agree here! when I got my iPhone, I really didn't think I would ever find any games that I would like enough to actually use a touch screen with. but I was very wrong, and have now got at least 80 of them. the only type I am not very fond of, are ones that work better with voice over turned off, as I have heard about people doing this and for some strange reason not being able to get it to come back on afterwards, owing to the triple click setting changing, seemingly of it's own accord. I have found the iPhone games great for killing time on train journeys for example.

But dave, I don't really understand why you can make such a sweeping statement as "phone based games hold no appeal" The Iphone at least has now got a wide variety of games from interactive stories, to arcade action, to audio adventures and even some , full on stratogy and rpg, games, so I'm a little confused why you can make such a sweeping statement as "games on the phone hold no appeal" unless it's perhaps something basic such as using the touch screen you dislike. I wonder if you've been looking at the right phone games? Beware the grue!
