You should be able to talk to George and he'll tell you whatever it was he was
going to say again. I'd highly recommend you import the channel_history and
ouput_functions plugins into your world, as they're absolutely invaluable when
reviewing text.
As far as getting to motown, past George, you will find a path leading to a
boat. Buy a ticket and board the boat, and you will eventually end up in motown.
Note that if you recall below level 10, you will be brought back to high point. If you're still in this range, I highly recommend you check out the rest of the island; there's a whole area full of quests and things for you to explore before heading
to motown.

As you do the quests, and as you battle various creatures, you gain xp. Once
you have enough to level, you can type gain to rise a level. You can check
your current xp and how much you need to level by typing exp.
Some quests require you to be in a certain level range before you can join
them.
