Hi Ishan, STFC 1.2 will run on a 32-bit version of Windows 7 which you said you have. The only thing I can figure is that you are missing some DirectX components. Managed DirectX and DirectX 9.0C are not the same thing. So please don't confuse them.
To get Managed DirectX, go to the Microsoft DirectX web site, download the web installer, and run it. It will scan your system and then install any missing components as well as update those on your system. As far as improvements to the game those in the works. STFC is in rewrite, has been rewritten from the ground up in C++, and has none of the compatibility issues and bugs in the 1.x version. Cheers!
