there is a look tell tutorial available in the ap store which is specially
designed for getting used to vo gestures, not to mention the say it right
game from draconis.
I would also recommend having a look at some of the choiceofgames titles if
your a fan of interactive stories sinse they have very standard layout and
controls and are a good way of practicing reading basic pages and text.
If you want to get used to physical screen layout, you could also try the
card game lost cities, which indeed was the first Iphone game I bought. This
isn't difficult to use basic taps on, but there are distinct speed
advantages to walking your finger around the screen and getting used to
where certain things are in physicalspace which is obviously one advantage
with vo, for example you can always find the discard pile at the bottom
right corner.
Then again i confess my second Iphone game was king of dragon pass, which
was sort of jumping in at the deep end as far as vo goes, and yet I worked
it out so I personally wouldn't be too worried, actually I've been very
impressed at how intuative much of vo is, or at least I found it to be
though i know this isn't everyone's experience.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
