I agree, to a point. No doubt you already know that because I've sent
messages along similar lines before. Generally I jump on the bandwagon
when it's a technical term or some other thing that could misrepresent
us as a player base to the mainstream gaming community, (the
never-ending battle to get people writing CAPTCHA properly being one
recent example). But when the majority of someone's messages over a
period of several months are one or two lines long, and seem only to
criticise or insist on clarity to the point where it appears that
person isn't willing to investigate a single thing that hasn't been
handed to them on a plate, I do start to wonder whether our old buddy
Mr Initiative is stuck in cyber traffic. Yet somehow, that seems
unlikely, because the grammar police usually manage to make it to the
scene of the crime right on time don't they.

To give you an example of how this comes across, I could've replied to
your last message as follows:
"What is knit picking? I was referring to nitpicking. Check the
difference in spelling. Thanks."
It wouldn't have gotten anybody any closer to enjoying games, so I chose not to.

Follow what I'm saying? Let one go once in a while man, it frees up a
few extra seconds for gaming.
