Nope not as far as I know. Certainly not in the short game, I've not
finished a long game yet, but I'm %90 certain that you can't sinse becoming
king (or indeed queen), of Dragon pass is end of the story.

Hi Darren.
The victory conditions are mutually exclusive and come with different
incounters and bits of story, and are actually strategically a little
different at least as regards heroquests. So no, you can't start a short
game, complete it and then continue to a long one, you need to lay two
different games.
