Hi William.
screen reader settings are saved to the game file, heck even my sapi speed
is default in the game's menu until I bring up my save game so that might
explain why.
With the scrolls, if the alt key won't work for you there are some
alternative keys such as control that might work, see the options menu for
details.
As regards the dungeons,well being set on a large spaceship the dungeons
aren't traditional underround type areas, you will find them as you progress
through the plot, and no, the main ship floors aren't dungeons either the
habitation or recreation floors, you'll know when your in a dungeon sinse
you'll start running into random battles, and possibly mazelike areas in
some dungeons too.
