I can only help you with two specifically. The others I can give general data.
Firstly, the main difference between 32 and 64 bit is the location of 32-bit programs. 64-bit
windows will have two program files folders. "C:\program files" and "c:\program
files (x86)". x86 is where all of your 32 bit programs (this includes all
audiogames that I'm aware of) are installed by default.
To transfer saved data, you'll just want to copy the files from the old machine
to either the game's program folder or your my documents folder. I'll go
through the list below:

q9,and super liam are likely stored in program files. Kitchensinc may be
stored in program files or your documents folder. Either way, after you install
the games on your new machine, simply copy the correct files to whereever they
need to be.

Castaways is 100% portable. It doesn't matter where its stored, and it doesn't matter where the saved games are. You can copy and paste the whole game folder wherever you feel like, and it'll work exactly the same. I personally actually store all of aprone's games on a portable external hard drive, so I never have to worry about copies on different computers, and I can play it wherever I go.

Entombed's saved games are sstored in your documents folder. You'll see a
folder called saved games, that's entombed. Just copy it over to the documents
folder on your new machine and you're all set.

Subject: [Audyssey] Locations of various game save data for transfer from
aWindows 7 laptop to a Windows 8 laptop.

The subject says it all. How can I transfer the following game's save
data from my old Windows 7 laptop to my new Windows 8 laptop?
The old laptop was running a 32-bit Windows, and the new laptop is
running a 64-bit Windows; I imagine this will make a difference in
where the files are placed.

The games are:
Q9
Super Liam
Castaways
Entombed
The KitchensInc games

Any help is grately appreciated!

Thanks,
Ari
