HI all There's something I find confusing in super mario bros. Those of you who haven't played the accessible version, but did play the mainstream version should also be able to help me. Do I understand this correctly? I stomp a goomba by jumping on top of it or across it? The read me doesn't say how a goomba is stomped. Sometimes when I just hold down up arrow for jump without moving with right arrow I hear the sound letting me know a goomba has been stomped. So how is a goomba stomped? The way jumping works in the accessible super mario bros. The uparrow for jump is pressed and held down for a few seconds to let mario rise. Then the up arrow is released. Then the right arrow is held down to move while airborn. What I find confusing: I hear the sound of walls from both sides and at the same time I hear the sound of a goomba. I hold down up arrow and then I release it and hold down left arrow or right arrow but sometimes the goomba kills mario. I find stomping a goomba a bit confusing. I find that if there's walls to the left and right, and I try to jump on top of the goomba, that the goomba kills me. Usually I can stomp a goomba quite easily when there is no nearby walls. Many thanks for any help Bfn Nicol
