Hi Lori.
funnily enough while I've not played much of inquisitor's heartbeat, I had
the opposite problem, I accidently reset my game. I believe you need to tap
with two or more fingers to get back to the main menu, and then choose a
mode, though again this is an instance where I wish Ticonblu would include
more instructions in their games to make matters clearer.
If you determin what's going on let me know as I need to investigate
inquisitor's hartbeat fully for myself.

Subject: [Audyssey] help needed with Heartbeat.
Hi everyone, I'm playing Enquisetor's Heartbeat, on my iphone 4s, but
when the game opened I seem to have ended up in the endless maze mode, and
can't figure out how to get back to the main menu to listen to the
tutorial, or play story mode. I've tried touching around the middle of
the screen, but with no luck, and when I've tried turning voiceover on to
see if it reads anything, nothing happens. I also tried shutting the app
down and re-opening it, but it just continued from where it left off. I'm
holding the phone with the home button to the right, and the only thing I
can do is move around the rooms, which is a scarey experience in itself
lol.
