Sounds good, so I'll give them a try. The main reason I have been asking is that my phone is a 16 gig model, and is running low on space. Plus I didn't want to pay for starter packs only to find that the games weren't challenging enough. I'm sure that the solitaire game would be a challenge, but the crazy eights game is not against other people like Dice World is, and if the computer plays at an easily beaten level, I would have bought something I would not use. Thanks for the info. After the third of next months, I'll be buying.

The games are playable, but there are a few shortcuts you can enable to make them run quicker. I think some of those require the starter packs. They allow you to do things like two-finger double tap to move a card to the foundation pile, and so forth. The manual process is a bit slow, but works well enough once you understand it. I wouldn’t call other game crippled without the packs.

How did you find the games playability before the starter packs?

Charles,

Yeah, I bought the starter pack for both games. It enables extra game modes, and in one case actually lets you play unlimited games per day, though I can’t remember right now if that was solitaire or Crazy 8s. Over all I think the packs were a bit overpriced. I’d have liked to see simply more games for purchase, perhaps. But I’m glad I bought them.
Best,
Zack.

Have you paid for any in-app purchases? If so, what would you say the difficulty is when using them as compared to without? Thanks.

Charles,

I can try to give some experiences. I’ve played Blindfold solitaire several times, and it seems quite replayable. Since it’s klondike, the games seem to be quite replayable. There is an extensive strategy guide provided from within the settings screen. Crazy 8s I’m less sure about. I was able to beat it handily on my second play, and there aren’t difficulty levels. I feel as though that game has enough chance built in that I might have been lucky, though.

Hope this helps a bit,
Zack.

Both "blindfold crazy eights" and "blindfold solitaire" are free apps that are available from within the iTunes store. Each has in-app purchases that add features and enhance the games. I'm looking for firsthand knowledge, based on your use of these games, concerning their replay value. I do not want to hear only that this is a good game, or it's not good. I want to know why or why not. Are these games easily beaten? Do they have skill levels that can be chosen? How well does the crazy eights app play? This will determine whether I get the games or not, or at least give me some idea. Thanks in advance.
