Hi Teresa.
As I said to zack, it seems to just be the tutorial which is a pest, but
thanks for letting me know about how to get the correct answer, sinse it's
always good to learn things while playing.
I have no problem with testing games out (I do it enough myself), I was just
a little narked to wind up in such a fix with a game most people were
praising so highly, though in fairness some of the access issues referd to
on applevis seem fine.
The only thing I'm currently wondering is exactly what does the "Spin"
option when you go for a crown does?
All the best,
Dark.

In the actual game the procedure goes this way: spin, then press the play
button near the bottom of the screen. When you answer three questions
correctly, you'll get a chance at a character. There is a distinctive
audio cue for this and many other options in the game. Double-tap the
character you want and press play. At random, the spins will land you on a
character. When you get this option in either case, you have to pick
whether to answer a single question or play a six-question challenge that
both you and your oppoent must answer. Your opponent can steal your
characters, and you can steal theirs. You have to choose which character
you don't mind losing and which one you want to steal.
If you get a wrong answer, you have to swipe up with two fingers
immediately in order to hear the question and the answer you selected,
plus the correct answer.
This is not a game created expressly for the visually impaired. It is
reasonably accessible the way it is, but not perfect. This is the downside
of buying off-the-shelf games for mobile devices, or going to websites to
play games.

Dark,
I don’t remember this tutorial from Trivia Crack, and it has been a long
time. However, the game itself is much more useable.
In the meantime, might I suggest using your finger to explore the screen,
instead of flicking? In particular, sometimes close buttons and so forth
are near the upper left.
Also, for long term play, I highly recommend the ad free version. It is
much more pleasant to use.
All the best,
Zack.

Hello.
Okay I've downloaded the game but it doesn't seem particularly good with
voiceover.
I created an account and selected my country, it then started me on the
tutorial, however none of the controls can be flicked through and where
it says "tap here" isn't actually where you need to tap (silly
tutorial).
I selected a classic game and random opponent and play here, and it then
asked me to tap to spin the wheel which I did, however now I'm stuck on
a screen that says "art" at the top "spin the wheel again" at the bottom
and has a hole bunch of controls just labeled button button button that
I can't either flick through or tap and I can't get through this screen.
Actually this isn't the first example of a tutorial that is cruddy with
vo, and just says "tap here" without any instructions and is a problem
to get past, however if the controls in trivia crack are this cruddy I
don't see how you play the game or answer questions.
I will confess I'm a trifle annoyed sinse with all the positive comments
I was expecting something better than this.
All the best,
Dark.
Hopefully someone can enlighten me.
