Hello, You can, in addition to better shields, get better weapons as your level increases. For example, where pistols are harder to get early on, they are easy to get at level ten. Just keep playing and you should be able to get better and better weaponry. Having the ai help you out by rescuing a prisoner helps a lot, too! Regards, Aaron
