Did I miss something? I don't recall a program mentioned called space
traders or space tirant, but I'd be interested in the name alone. Is it a
dos game?

Unfortunately, in my message about space traders, and ioresult.com, I
mistakenly stated that spacetraders was the opensource version of the
program, and that I had a copy for anyone who couldn't find it. The name
of that program is actually space tyrant, not space traders.
