Well www.ffproject.org is not the only place for gamebooks or games that
are mostly text.
There is also age of fable

It is also possible at least some of the games on whitestick might work, for
example I know there are several legend of the green dragon varients such
as improbable island, and starship traders is about as cut down as you can
