Well more like a catalogue or a show room, the database has pages for
games
which tell you about the games, and you can search by genre etc (use the
search games link on the front page), then there are links that show you
to
the developer's own site and (hopefully), where to download the game, at
least so long as the developer themselves hasn't taken it down.

I'm not sure why there is such a delay, but it is important to note
that none of the games are actually stored on Audiogames.net's
servers. All links point back to the developer's site so any delay
would have to be between you and the developer rather than
Audiogames.net since Audiogames.net is just an index and not the host
of the files.
