In homage to IT people all around the world... have you rebooted? Other possibilities: If you can, try castaways on another machine? Either that, or just redownload it and see if that fixes the issue; something may have been corrupted or missing. I've got nothing for swamp, sorry.

It's really frustrating having Swamp so laggy, then castaways not responding suddenly. I'm not sure what to do about that runtime error and would be glad of any help.
