Hi. This is to let anyone who's not been on the audiogames.net forum know about a great sounding project under development. A side scrolling, rythm action rpg game based on a traditional Korean story.
The game will apparently use traditional Korean instruments and will let players progress by inputting different rythm sequences to eat, attack, gain energy etc. It's going to be free but in order to fund the localization of an English version, the developers are looking for Kickstarter donations. Now I know what people are thinking "Oh here we go, someone who wants another hundred thousand" howver they're just looking for 1000 usd, and they already have nearly 400. So, this is something that I see being a reality, and definitely a first for audiogames (I can't think of any other Korean developers). I've stuck in some cash myself, so anyone else who fancies supporting this can go to https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1452000940/ji-eum-a-rhythm-mobile-game-for-the-visually-impai And for more information or to ask the devs questions, use the topic in new releases on the forum. As I said, I see this as definitely happening and it sounds like a fascinating project.
