Ok here is what I do for the first floor. S P O I L E R When the game starts, find the axe in the first room, you've already done that. Then break down the door and go into the next room. Kill the robot that is there and flip the switch. I know you've got this far but am just writing it down for my own clarity.
Now, go back into the first room and you will find that the electric barrier on the other door that you should have heard before is now replaced by a buzzer. You can walk in here and there are exits on both sides. The right one leads to a room with a terminal that you need to use and a guard you need to kill. The left one takes you to the elevator to the next floor but be careful there is a guard in there too. This should get you to the next floor where I am currently somewhat stuck.
