That's irritating sinse I haven't even got any necro levels yet so it'll
take me a long while and a couple of practices learning spells I don't
really need.
Ironically before I had the opposing problem given that I didn't have any
mage spells at that point either.
Perhaps either some sort of spell staff could be added for that quest, so
that it doesn't depend upon just having mage and necro levels.

Hi.
I've just made it to arcase and I'm wondering about the planes guild
quest. i need to take a crystal first to the heavyside layer on slo and do
spells on it, however as a druid mage I don't have any necro spells.
Firstly, could I use scrolls to cast the spells on the gem? and secondly,
where do I get a scroll for tarrant's spectral hand? I found a scroll of
coldfire in necromantic supplies in gad's landing, but I'm not sure about
spectral hand.
I do really enjoy the planes as areas so some info would be nice here, I'd
also like to do the slo quest first so that I can be finished with going
back that way before I go and delete the kordan waypoints from my list and
have a long trek :D.
