Michael, I don't know of a way to do it directly, but it seems that a good rule of thumb is to figure on 6-8 hit points per level of the monster. That seems accurate enough for most situations. Trained manamon are harder to judge, but this seems to be the rough average. It seems to vary by training, type, and level. Take care,
