Magic is any attack that isn't performed physically. For example, this Flamia magic attacks or spells would include the sneer which lowers the defense, fire breath, and focus which increases the strength of a hit. Magic attack is how much strength your attack holds, and magic defense is the ability to hold up defense against magic attacks. These also have usage points, i e, the amount of times you can use each attack. On all the Manamon, usage points, along with all other stats that can be lost during a fight, will be healed at the hotel. Although, later on in the game you'll notice that tamers will heal your manamon before the fight and that typically means it's gonna be a tough one.
