It's pretty difficult to memorize all the punches and their proper defenses and counter attacks at first, but it makes some sense once you get used to it. If there only was a bit more complexity such as the ability to move, duck or jump, and more fighting actions such as long combos to defend, it would be very similar to the wonderful fighters like Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Virtual Fighter, etc. I do quite like it but once you beat the redemption, it doesn't have very high replay value.
