Hi AC. I don't yet know any use for that stone, but the other two items you mention do have uses. The small black gem will come in handy at some point during the runeskin adventure, I would guess. Successfully defeating runeskin's minions seems to get you one. One of my characters has two of them because she successfully got through both encounters. As for the bronze disk shard, that will come in handy in the murk adventure in Stormfield. You'll have to find several more.
