I do a couple of things to make my game playing quicker. If you use the letter B for buttons you can move between buttons quickly. In some adventures, I will place a bookmark on a certain part of the page, for instance I placed one at move to the center of the clearing for the statues quest. You can do this by pressing control shift K and adding one in the place you desire. To get back to it press K. Finally hitting F3 and using the find command is great for long lists of things.
