Hello, If it hurt your ears, then it did its job pretty well. *Grins* Seriously, when it beeps, that means you're below a chest. Here, you can stop, turn of the engine of the boat, also the detector, and hook up the chest. Of course, you don't need to do it to be able to hook the chest up, its enough if you just tap the down arow until you hear the hook connects with the chest, then you can pull it up. Rob
