Can't help with the star trek mud, I'm afraid. I do remember the old
BBS games you refer to, though. Some places still run them, I believe,
though I haven't been on a BBS in a while.
One of my favorite BBS space games was TW2002...That's not exactly a
mud, but it's fun if played by folks, I've found.
