Also, the farther you can run to the right when he jumps to the left, the more shots you can hit him with before he jumps ahain, and the sooner you will win the battle. HTH.

This is also more or less what I do. I keep running towards him at the beginning, and when I believe he's close enough, I shoot him. It is easy to determine the necessary distance once you try a few times and get the hang of it. The very moment he gets hit, he jumps into the air, trying to land on your head. He is now on your right so naturally he jumps to the left. So I run to the right, making him land behind me or to the left of me, if you like. Then it's just the matter of turning back to him and firing, running 4 or 5 steps left, waiting for him to land, turning back to him, firing, running 4 or 5 steps to the right, waiting for him to land, etc... I believe it takes round 10 hits to kill him.
