Yeah, that's true. Back before the test servers went down, I did a bit of 
experimenting with powers and such, destruction at level 100 can do easily 
upwards of 100 damage. I have no idea what shadow magic can do at anything 
above 40, but I assume all that happens is you get bigger melee boosts and 
possible more stamina restoration. Either way, they both have their 
benefits, shadow magic is good against battles where you'd have to roll 
anything above a 12, if you use destruction there you're still likely to 
take damage, whereas shadow magic now will allow you to keep your combat 
roll up while still dishing out damage. Plus, I love the concept of shadows 
swarming around your opponent, guiding your hand so that your blade strikes 
vital points every time. I do find it odd that shadows that have a basis in 
the necromantic realm would heal you, but what can ya do? *grin*
