Hi John, Sometimes the sound buffers get filled up and refuse to dump. Don't ask me why, since it is not my game engine. That is why control c clears the buffers. There is also a bug that does the same thing. One of the secret passages takes you into a wall. I had it take you into the kitchen then I built a wall where you were to exit by mistake. I will fix this with a patch in August. You should be able to apparate out of this situation.
