I don't know if it will help because I'm not having problems, but when debug is turned on and a bug is encountered in a program, Microsoft tells you of the bug, stops the program and lets you either fix it or just sto the program. It will often (maybe always) not work through the bug itself. I found when I turned debug off that I sailed marily past bugs in programs that had nothing to do with me or my operation without even being aware they were there. It's worth a try.
