hi tom. well at least we narrowed it down to 3 possible things. I have tried re installing all 3 things the dot ex install and the frame work and Monty and am still getting that message. I have since un installed Monty and left the other 2 things alone the dot net frame work and direct ex. I also wanted to let you know that I got that same message when I tried to run STFC as well so something sertenley is up.
