I think I've located a possible bug in the Monty patch. I've noticed that, on
my machine at least, it's no longer possible to kill snakes using the swords.
They don't seem to bite when I get close as long as I'm carrying one, but it's
like when I get close enough to one I can only move a few steps at a time, as
if I'm repeatedly having to kick the snake out of my way. Spiders and skulls
aren't affected by this, just the snakes. It's actually pretty bizarre.
It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.
