I don't think reading the manual over and over is the way to go really. Probably the best thing to do is read the manual once, which is quite brief by the way, then keep the page open as you play the game so you can refer back to it. If you concentrate on learning the interface and not worry about winning the map, you will have it down in no time. There seems to be a problem with games being widely accepted that take more than 5 minutes to learn. This is very frustrating, as both a developer and gamer, as it causes developers to not want to develop more complex games as people too often won't bother taking the time to learn them. Even though Sound RTS is an amazing game, features multiplayer abilities and is free to boot, there are only about 20 players that I know of that play regularly. I'm sure there are more, but with a game like this, we should have hundreds. Also, I wonder how many gamers are actively on this list. I thought after RTS was released in English, we would have a lot of people on here discussing it, but so far there are maybe 6 or 8, which is kind of sad. If less than a hundred players are using this game when it is free, what chance does a developer stand to actually sell enough copies to make it worthwhile once they start charging for it?
