Raul, the thing is simple. Bad things happen in every mailing list all over the world, and instead of ignoring them, people answer to flames. Someone says "my intention is just to defend my reputation from false accuses", but the problem is that answering publicly to such bad things, means that you, in a certain way, are hurt by those things. If you feel they do not concern you, they are false, they do not touch you at all and you just push your finger on the Delete key and the messages just go and, if you really feel offended, you answer line by line off list to the interested person. and also people who write "i am going to leave, this is not any longer the place for me", just makes the game of those bad guys. Internet is big, internet is free, people are free to come and leave whenever they want, without making it know to the rest of the list, who is interested just in the topic. I agree with people saying it should be a good idea to change Mailman's settings to make answers come privately instead of the list. So people do not nswer just using their fingers instead of head, and well they can do so, but if they answer just by finger, automatic ctrl+r does not hurt a whole community.
