Hi, I don't know what happend to Microsoft's DirectX page, but I am going to give you the direct link to the DirectX web installer download page. I just tested the link, and so I know ithe link I am going to give you works. Here it is.

Not only does it have the potential of fixing a broken DirectX install you get an upgrade at any rate. I am very determined to solve your issues, because if I can figure out why it is broken on your system it will aid me in the future in fixing others broken installs. I'm very glad you are beta testing Monty for me despite the problems, and the reason I am doing this public test is to work the bugs out of weird broken installs like this.
