Hi Josh, Python is rather easy to learn for the fact variables don't require to be given a specific data type, and there isn't alot of syntactical rules you have to follow. However, a newby going the Python path will find out that won't fly in any other language where variables have to be given a specific data type, and there are syntactical rules that govern the language. For this reason I would recommend a newby try something like C# .Net first to get a feel of what object oriented programming is like as well as understanding the advantages of typed variables, syntactical coding, etc which is common to just about every language.
