I successfully installed the game. I have both xp and 98 on my machine. So I
first tried to run the patch in xp because that is the windows I use the
most often. But I got an error that the game is not installed. I copied the
patch file into the folder where the game is installed and then I tried
running the patch, but as soon as I click on the patch button I get an
error message box: tarzan junior is not installed.
So then I installed tj in 98 and tried the patch there and it worked, but I
can't nicely play tj in 98 because the sound have static in it in 98 so what
I did, I copied that whole folder where tj was installed in 98. in 98 it was
installed on the c drive and in xp it is installed on the d drive so I
copied that whole tj folder onto the c drive to the d drive and it works, I
can play the game. On my computer the d drive is not the cd drive, it's the
second partition of my 80 gb hard drive. But for those who only have xp, is
there a solution? Could you guys that have xp successfully patch the game?
How far did you guys get in the game. The torgin battle is really hard, and
I'm only now on easy difficulty.
I wish someone could pass on the following suggestion to Jason formerly from
xl studios or to anybody who wants to modify the self destruct game.
This idea I got when hearing a tv advert, they advertised a bed and the
advewrt said: if you had a night's rest on this bed, you will be ready for
another day in the jungle.
And strangeley this add brought up the idea in my mind of a self destruct
game based in the jungle. The grid can be the same as in the current self
destruct but just add a jungle atmosphere to it such as jungle sounds in the
background, try to combine the sound of an urchin firing at you with a
jungle animal sound.
That would be soooo cool!
For example combine the sound of a monkey with the sound of an urchin
firing at you and make the sound of the monkey softer than that of the
urchin, so then it will sound like a jungle urchin. You can keep the medic
urchin, alpha urchin and urchin lord as it is. Just add jungle background
sounds and combine the sound of urchins 1 to 25 firing at you with a soft
monkey sound.
