Thanks thom, you explained it nicely.
I thought you said long ago that sarah's navigation is more complex than
shades of doom and that you can't identify doors and if sarah's navigation
was easier, you will buy the game. So have you changed your mind? Do you
find sarah more easy to navigate?

Hi Nicol,
I don't know how to say this, and not sound like I am putting you down.
So as I say this don't take it that way ok?
Generally speaking most gamers are able to know the difference between
an arcade game and a FPS style of game. First person games tend to put
you, the player, in the roll of the games hero, and you can move in all
directions in the game world. Arcade games are like Troopenum, Aliens in
the Outback, Montezuma's Revenge, etc. The only difference between a
game like Montezuma's Revenge and say Alien's In the Outback is
Montezuma's style is side-scroller and Aliens In the Outback is a
virtical-scroller, but both are still in the arcade genre.
However, Sarah is very typical of a First Person Shooter. Some of the
best FPS games out there like Tomb Raider have puzzles you need to solve
in addition to action and treasure hunting. Even the Star Wars FPS games
have puzzles you need to solve like which buttons need to be pressed in
the right order, which switch to flip to open a door or get killed, and
so on. In terms of FPS games Sarah is a good one.
I realise while some of the more complex puzzles were not in the demo
you should have had some idea of the kind of game it was by the demo.
For example what did you need to get into the staff room, what password
opens the kitchen, etc. All of these are puzzles that Sarah must solve
to advance.
I really like Sarah, and before to long I do want to buy it. I am just
waiting for my cash to restock itself after buying several expensive
upgrades for my laptop wich were necessary for my business.
