Well, if you look at it with the view map feature you will see it is one long lava pit with stone or rocky ledges jutting up out of the middle of it at equal distances. The object here is to walk to the first ledge and jump from ledge to ledge until you make it safely to the other side of the lava pit. Yeah, it is a bit tricky, but once you do it once you'll figure it out easy enough.
