Well, I had a isten to the Raceway trailer. While I can sort of see why people would say it sounds a it like a Sunday Drive, I nonetheless had to work hard not to Email those people privately, or worse, on list, to tell them to get it through their heads that this is a pre alpha trailer. Needless to say Thomas I liked the trailer and can't wait to hear it once you've got things more to your liking. As for music, if seventies and eighties rock is your thing, think you could learn any stuff from Inxs? I'm a huge fan of those guys even after they recruited their new lead singer on reality TV. Or better yet, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers? Or how about Queen? I personally feel you need good, pumping music in a racing game, which is why I feel a lot of clasic rock would fit well into Raceway. But as you said it wold have to be something you know, although if I could make a suggestion, I feel it might not hurt to allow players the option to put their own MIDIs in along with the existing ones in order for a wider selection. WOuld something like that be too difficult to code?
