Hmm. That's odd. They should have unlocked it on your map when they told you to build the car. I wonder why its not there? I don't think you have to do those other quests first, but it might be a wise idea since that gnoll is I think a level 5 or so area, would be pretty hard to do before you've done some of the other quests in the game. Course I haven't had a newbie character for a while, so I could just be misremembering.
